Tips for the first use of elements painted with high-temperature paint
According to the paint manufacturer's recommendation, painted elements should be "baked" for about 2 hours. at a temperature of 160*C.
This treatment hardens the paint and increases its resistance to abrasion and scratching.
Sometimes it takes longer than just 2 hours in cases where a thick layer of paint accumulates in the creases of the product.
Please remember that too high a "baking" temperature will destroy the paint, so ensuring the appropriate temperature is very important. Too low a temperature, in turn, may extend the paint maturing process by up to several hours, but in no case does it damage it.
If you do not have a suitable thermometer at hand, simply light a very small fire in the stove and add only as much fuel as necessary so that it does not go out.
If light gray smoke begins to rise from the paint, it means that the temperature is too high
It's worth having a regular desk fan on hand to cool the stove down a bit.
To do this, direct the air stream from a distance of about 1 meter to the part of the stove that is overheating.
Contrary to appearances, an ordinary fan turns out to be quite effective in such situations.
If the indicated temperature is not exceeded, firing takes place invisible to the eye. There is no smoke or even unpleasant odor coming from the paint. However, just in case, the room should be ventilated.
